Hello, would some of you folks care to offer your opinion of temperature of
reagents when doing immuno? Am interested knowing if you ever keep your
blocking solutions and PBS cool before applying. We vary our antibody temps
depending on how protocol was developed, but have an investigator asking for
slides to be put into cold PBS for ten minutes after the serum block and
before the antibody is "put to bed" at 4 degrees overnight, hopefully to
help decrease background. I think temps have been discussed before but am
not pulling up the right articles from the archives. Thanks
