histiocyte non-specific esterases

From:Roger Moretz <stamptrain@yahoo.com>

We have a study ongoing where we need to specifically
identify histiocytes in mice. My experience has been
either one of the non-specific esterase stains (either
alpha-naphthyl or pararosaniline) or CD68 or lysozyme
antibody staining--but that was all on human tissue.
I have only been able to locate 1 CD68, 1 lysozyme and
1 alpha-1-antitrypsin, but don't know if any of them
work on FFPE tissue (all I have to work with). Does
anyone have experience with any of these antibodies on
mouse tissue, or have specific protocols for either of
the histochemical stains on FFPE tissue?

Thanks in advance for your help.
