Re: Excell Fixative (What is it?)
I checked some of my travel notes and found that I'd recorded (and mercifully
forgotten) some information about Excell fixative. It was the alleged
fixative used at the Mohs horror show I regaled you with several months ago.

Excell does not provide same-day fixation for excisional biopsy skin
specimens, which are transferred to formalin for overnight fixation and next
day processing. Biopsy size skin specimens can be processed the same day.<<
