RE: bacteria samples

From:"Morken, Tim" <tim9@cdc.gov>

You could make a cell block with the frozen scrapings. We make controls by
mixing bacteria cultures with finely-minced normal tissue and then
processing that into a paraffin block.

Subject: bacteria samples

Dear Histonetters,

I have been asked to ask if anyone has had experience immunostaining
bacteria samples from mucosa scrapings. The scrapings have been stored in
tubes in a -70C freezer. Some concerns I have would be how to make slides
from the scrapings and how to get the scrapings to adhere well.
