	There is a regular full-time Histology position at The Jackson Laboratory
in Bar Harbor, Maine in the Dept of Biological Imaging, a Shared Scientific
Service.  This is a research environment specializing in murine tissue.
Duties include routine histological techniques such as paraffin processing,
sectioning, solution preparation, staining and routine lab maintenance.
Candidates with proficiency in specialized techniques such as cryotomy,
immunohistochemistry, serial sectioning, plastic sectioning, heavy metal
and other special staining will be given preference.  The sucessful
candidate should have a Bachelor's degree in a Biological field and two
years experience in a histology lab, or at minimum, an Associate's degree
in a related field as well as three to five years of experience in
histological techniques.  As the position requires that the individual
provide support service for numerous reserach projects, the individual must
interact well with staff members.  The individual must also be able to work
