I'm brand new to HistoNet.  I got an e-mail about getting stains out of
glassware and plasticware.  I found that dilute Gram's iodine left in the
glassware or plasticware for a minute of so will remove silver stains.  If
the iodine leaves the plastic yellow, I found that soaking it in a dilute
bleach solution will remove most of it.
