At this time there is no book available for undecalcified bone
histotechniques.
The last one is out of print, Methods in Calcified Tissue Preaparation, GR
Dickson,
and if you are lucky, it may be on a shelf somewhere, or in a library.
Some of the PMMA technics have been updated considerable, and published in
the last 10 years in Journal of Histotechnology, particularly plastics,
embedding, staining, etc. May need to do some sleuthing there. Each
article is like a minichapter from a book, filled with excellent hints and
methods.

IF you are a member of the National Society of Histotechnology (NSH) you
can join their Hard Tissue Committee, and access the members who perform
these technics. That was the purpose of the committee, to fill in the gap
of not having a good book on the subject.
They are an invaluable resource group, who have done it all - undecalcified
that is.

Linda Jenkins is their committee chairperson (lady!) and can help you with
this. Contact NSH office at histo@nsh.org for more particulars. There is
a book in the works, but when it would be published is not certain.

Good luck
