Dear David  I do whole rat brain fixation by transcardial perfusion this
tissue can be used for immunohistochemistry by frozen section within 1
hour and seems to be fine although I would not like to test it with a
parafin wax schedule.....if you want details of methods and times please
contact me direct......Mary
