Hi,
I am A Path Asst. at MCV in Virginia. IF all the fixation tools for still
don't help
with cuttting thin sections You might want to try a new pair of forceps
developed by
Mopec. They are Paddle forceps. They are two pieces of grided metal about 1 1/2
inches square. They hold the tissue firmly so you can cut a nice thin
section. I use
them all the time to help train residents on how to cut thin sections.
