To follow up on Tony's post here is the job description.

The Department of Pharmacology at Merck Research Laboratories (MRL), West
Point, PA has an opportunity for an experienced molecular histologist in an
established in situ hybridization/histology facility. The successful
candidate will have a BS, MS, or equivalent in biological science, with at
least 3 years experience in a basic research. The responsibilities will
include cryo- and paraffin sectioning of human and animal tissue, in situ
hybridization, immunohistochemistry, photomicroscopy and computer-based
imaging analysis. Experience with molecular biology techniques,
particularly in situ hybridization, generation of labeled probes and RNA
analysis, is essential. The primary responsibilities include determination
of mRNA expression patterns of novel gene products for potential drug
discovery targets in human and animal tissues. This is a fast-paced lab that
interacts with many other departments within MRL that requires independence
in optimizing techniques. Familiarization with Adobe Photoshop and tyramide
signal amplification (TSA) is desired, confocal experience is a plus.

Interested parties are encouraged to forward their resume to myself and
Tony.

Thanks,

Brett
