BD  Biosciences,  headquartered  in northern Baltimore County, is embarking
on a
comprehensive program in clinical diagnostics for oncology through our
strategic
alliance  with Millennium Predictive Medicine, the leader in functional
genomics
for  diagnostics.   Through  this strategic alliance, we will design,
create and
develop screening and staging tests for diagnosing a wide variety of cancers.

We  are  looking  for  a  histologist  or cytologist who has experience in
assay
development and experimental design. You will be responsible for
experimentation
in  the  development  of  reagents,  devices  and  protocols  for
collecting and
processing   specimens  (tissue,  cell  suspensions)  for  in  situ
diagnostics
(slide-based immuno and molecular pathology).

This is an R&D position and not based in a clinical laboratory.

A  minimum of 3 years of experience is required.  In addition, a MS or BS
degree
in  Biology, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Cell Biology or a related
field is
a plus.
