In response to the adhesive question...
I started with poly L lysine and it was an improvement.
Then we switched to silane and it was better. I have used silane for
several years.
Now if I coat slides I use Vectabond.#SP1800 a product from Vector. I
was given a tip from another neurology facility that this was stickier
than silane and it proved to be. I do not know for sure what it is, I
will have to look into it. So my vote is #5 - other.
