multiple staining course

From:"C.M. vander Loos" <c.m.vanderloos@amc.uva.nl>

Dear Histofriends,

I felt very honoured by the flattering words and mentioning my book:
"Immunoenzyme Multiple Staining Methods" at the histonet book list.

For all immunostaining enthousiasts it gives me great pleasure to announce
the 14th edition of the International Course Multiple Staining in
Immunohistochemistry. I will conduct this course at the Polytechnical
University Training Centre in Etten-Leur, The Netherlands (75 miles south
of Amsterdam) from April 9-11, 2001.
The "wet" course with approx. 14-16 participants deals with double and
triple immunoenzyme staining to be performed with commercially available
reagents. Protocols will be provided which can be easily adapted to many
different applications. The course provides advice for which multiple
staining methods to select, how they can be applied optimally and
invaluable trouble-shooting for the new user in the field.
Furthermore, attention will be payed to the application of different
fixatives for cryostat sections, and the relationship between tissue
fixative and tissue pretreatment with paraffin sections. The above
mentioned book is included with the course fee.

All the best wishes for a colorful 2001 and hope to meet you in Holland
coming April!!!
