How about using 2K to designate 2000 - this would free you to use 20 as is your
usual numbering method? Another option is to preface your usual 2-digit year
with the letter O (capital "oh") as in O0, O1, O2, etc. This assumes that you
have letter capabilities for your labeling...if that is not the case, perhaps
there is a symbol capability such as a dash: -0, -1, -2, etc. Good luck.
