Michele's fixative is a holding medium used for fresh tissue, mostly those 
kidneys for Immunoflouresence, and has to be rinsed from the tisue with a 
Malomide Buffer(SP?)
It works very well , having used it for about five years and permits easy 
transport of specimens from other institutions.
