Oh my! I am feeling a little lost. I guess I deleted a message before
reading it. In response to Gayles response......We also have a Leica
1800. We do not use the anti-roll plate. In fact it developed a
cracked glass effect so that you could not see through the plastic if
you did want to use it! I replaced it only for the few (1 person)
that likes to use an anti-roll plate. I learned the brush technique
when I was training in the dark ages and have trained others to use
it. I would however be interested in knowing about the new knife
holder? Guess I will contact my rep.
