Re: Sucrose

From:Tahir Mahmood <tahir@MIT.EDU>

i infuse with sucrose for 2 hours at room temp, and it has worked fine so far.

i have also been told of an alternative procedure where the samples are
infused with a sucrose/PVP mixture. Does anyone know why PVP is used? Is it
any better as a cryoprotectant? any possible problems?

thanks a bunch,
-Tahir
