There are two Euparals
Euparal and Euparal vert.
The former is believed to be a mixture of eucalyptol, camsal, paraldehyde and
sandrac.
RI approx. 1.48
Euparal vert contains a copper salt so will make hematoxylin stain stronger and
is also recommended for delicate stains such as Giemsa.
Used to be available from Gurr.
Sections can be mounted directly from absolute alcohol.
