had heard about filemaker pro from the histonet, tried an evaluation copy
and absolutely fell in love with it. it beats access and other database
programs hands down. thank you histonetters!

What is the chance that new software such as File Maker Pro be installed
for your numbering system?  I am using 00 for the year 2000 and this is not
a problem with File Maker.  Sure hope you find an easy solution and quickly
since we are already into 2000.
