CJD chemical waste

That would be nice, however, our chemical waste people won't touch them without 
the deactivation protocol being followed. Check with your facility to see what 
is required. Also check on procedures for autoclaving waste with possible 
CJD..we have to follow specific protocols. LuAnn

take a peek at the CAP website for info on how to disinfect the tissue. This may
make solution neutralization unnecessary if you treat the specimen prior to 
processing.
