The Paraffin Sectioning Aid Tape-Transfer system is designed for difficult
to cut paraffin sections. It might be very helpful for the troubling thyroid
"sandy" block.
Many labs are using it for bone, cartilage and other such difficult tissues.
The tape will capture the section intact and then it is transferred to the
slide; no water bath or drying steps. Can be immediately deparaffinized and
stained!
