Tim,

Cytospins can be treated like frozen tissue. The fixative depends on the
antibodies used, sometimes using acetone and other times using formalin,
or other fixatives, to obtain better morphology. You will have to
experiment with the antibodies you want to use.

Hello,

We're going to try and develop some techniques doing immuohistochemistry
on
cytospins and would like thoughts on such things as fixatives, fixation
times, general protocols, etc. Please feel free to respond to me
directly.

Thank you
