Dear Arlene,

We fix the section on the slide in Neutral Buffered Formalin for 10
secs.

Rinse in tap water, both sides of slide.
Haematoxylin (Mayer's Westmead Modification)     10 secs.
Rinse in tap water, both sides of slide.
Scott's Blueing Solution                                 10secs.
Rinse in tap water, both sides of slide.
Eosin (Eosin/Erythrosin water based)              10secs
Rinse in Absolute ethanol                               10secs
Xylene                                                     10secs
Mount.
