Jan Willem and John,
I'd be careful using CD34 to stain vessels. CD34 doesn't always stain
endothelium of some larger vessels. CD34 also stains the undifferentiated
fibroblasts in the vascular adventitia and in interstitial collagenous
connective tissue. Such CD34+ fibroblasts can also be found scattered among
vascular smooth muscle in some larger veins and arteries.
