I have sent cases of suspected Cat-Scratch disease to Dr. Kyung-Whan Min at
the Deaconess Hospital in Oklahoma City, OK for detection of Bartonella
henselae.  He uses a Warthin Starry histochemical stain as well as an
immunostain for this purpose.  I believe he uses a pAb reactive with
Bartonella organisms.  To my knowledge, commercially available antibodies
to Bartonella are not available.  Please call (or e-mail) me if you want
