Hi,
I am trying to permanently mount frozen tissue slides that have been stained
with Sudan Black B. I have tried: toluene based media, apathy's media,
glycerol jelly, glycerol alone, epon-araldite resin, superglue, microscope
immersion oil, and spit. I can't get the stain to stay on the section, it
fades and appears to lift off the tissue and dissolve in the mounting media
over time. Any ideas? I'm really at wit's end here......
thanks,
