Glycol Methacrylate and lipids

Hi.
I'd like to use glycol methacrylate to embed fresh seeds for
sectioning and then visualize lipids in the seed coat.
Can anyone tell me 1) how good GMA is at maintaining lipids in
preparations and 2) what would be the best stain to use with it? Can you
suggest any references?
