Hello everyone-

I am cutting frozen, unfixed mouse soleus and gastrocnemius muscle. I am
picking up the section on a room temperature slide. When the section
adheres to the slide, it does not lay down flat immediately. It appears to
take a few seconds for the section to completely adhere to the slide. My
problem is, when it does finally lay down, it is bunched up in places.
Under the microscope (unstained) it appears to have many hills and valleys.
When stained (H&E) the "hills" stain dark and the "valleys" stain light.
Have any of you experienced this problem?
