[Histonet] extended time in paraffin
From: | "Anne Van Binsbergen" |
For anything which is longer than the normal overnight processing, I have programmed our VIP5 for the tissue to spend 12 hours in formalin, then they stay in 70% alcohol for an extended period of time before the rest of the normal processing programme kicks in
I prefer not to leave tissue in paraffin wax for too long - so the extra time is allocated to the 70%
have had no problems at all with breast bx's or subsequent IHC
