First of all try to get the MSDS of the product you are going to start using because some of them are not as innocuous as they alledge to be; some may have TWA and STEL values as high as the product they are intended to substitute. Beware!

  Hi
I am trying out a xylene substitute, namely Ottix Plus as well as Ottix
Shaper(alcohol substitute) in my rotary tissue processor and in my
automatic stainer.
I would like to know if anybody has heard of/tried this product or any
other xylene substitute and what your comments are.
Many thanks
