Ashwin,
         All polymeric scaffolds are NOT equal!  I have found that using 
the Instrumedics tape transfer technique really helps with the frozen PLLA 
scaffolds.  In fact I have a PowerPoint presentation that shows the 
step-by-step technique.Cutting a frozen section on a PLLA scaffold without 
the tape technique is like trying to section a loosely held piece of 
dust...you sneeze...it's gone!
