[Histonet] pathologists in the lab

From:"Stephen Peters M.D."

I could not agree with you more. A generous histotech taught me how to cut and stain as a resident and I ended up cutting a handful of my autopsies. It taught me a great deal about the problems a histotech faces and insite into the artifacts I was producing my self. This also helped me to become a better frozen sectionist. Never take for granted that patholgists understand the details in histology. Some do, many don't. It can get you into trouble. And be care trusting them to load the processor. I would be happy if all my residents could trim a block to a unifom 3 mm thickness!
