I use a 0.5% toluidine blue in 0.5NHCl (90ml. DH2O, 4.2ml conc. HCl) for
30 minutes.  Rapidly dehydrate in 3 changes of absolute alcohol, xylene,
and coverslip.  A section of skin works good for control.
