[Histonet] fragile tissue for immunohistochemisty
From: | Alexandra Allison de Sousa |
Hello! I have been doing immunohistochemistry on some very fragile and
large sections of ape brain. The procedure requires so many transfers
(washing and 2 pretreatments in addition to primary antibody,
secondary...) that the tissue is shredded by the time it is stained and
I am ready to mount it on a slide. I assume that I could save the
tissue some damage by mounting first before -- has anyone tried this?
Would it work? Any other ideas?
Thanks!
Alexandra
