Phil- In the literature, I have maintained that the CD34+ interstitial
dendritic fibroblast seen as the predominant stromal cell in fat, dermis,
and most collagenous connective tissue is, among other things,  a
preadipocyte. If you like, do a medline search for Silverman JS and send me
