I use the stuff the optician sells, in a little
squirty-bottle, for cleaning specs with. The
composition is undisclosed, but tactile and
olfactory analysis suggest a mixture of alcohol,
water and something similar to dishwashing liquid.

At the present rate of usage my 50 ml bottle
should, if kept only for microscope lenses, last
about 250 years.
