We get rid of the aqueous reagent from the waste carboy by putting it down the drain; our safety department determined that the amount of DAB involved is not enough to warrant special disposal procedures .  The coverslip oil is then collected and sent to our safety department on campus where they incinerate it.  Basically they don't want that amount of oil going through the plumbing.
