Re: Making controls

From:Ross Stapf

Someone in our Micro lab did this a while back for helicobacter pylori, but the current staff tried and failed. If someone has as procedure for this please post to histonet.

Thank you all

I want to try to make my own fungus control. I had Microbiology introduce a yeast onto a piece of placenta, but I'm not sure how to proceed now. If I place the tissue in an incubator to help the yeast grow, the tissue will rot. If I place the tissue in the refrigerator, the yeast will not grow as effectively and quickly. Any suggestions??
