Re: Hood Help

From:Bryan Llewellyn

I had a similar problem over our coverslipping area some years ago.  The easiest resolution for us was to get a sheet matal shop to make us one from thin steel, like that used for heating ducts.  We hooked into an existing extraction system, but it should be easy enough to fit a fan on and discharge it somewhere safe.

Subject: Hood Help

anyone out in histo land know  of a hood that will fit over existing grossing areas that have a board that "flows" to the sink? Have looked @ all the major players- Shandon, Allegiance, etc. without much help. The existing area was built many moons ago - we are "planning" a new area- but looks like 3+ years away. What something to suffice until renovations. Counter top is only 24" wide and has a cabinet overhead that is in t he way-----any ideas?
Thanks
