HI, 
yes, we've used both Cytorich Red, and a modified Carnoys. (No chloroform). The Cytorich is easier to use, just make sure to follow th erecommendations regarding volume of fixative to cell pellet size. If you have pericardial fluid though, watch out !! It will turn to a sort of cranberry Jelly consistency unless diluted cell pellet first.
