RE: CSI

From:Pamela Marcum

I watch when I need a good laugh.  Of course I thought Quincy was a comedy for the first season and I wanted the tech in that one for my lab.  Sam could do anything and cheap.  I guess it is a drama unless you know better.  I can't imagine any police interrogation with a CSI conducting it unless the lawyer is there going "Yea, ask anything you want so I can get this thrown out in court."  Pam Marcum

I watched that show one time because of all the hype.  In that episode, they removed a 7 week 'fetus' from a dead 4th degree burn victim, then did a computer enhanced aging process to determine how the fetus would look as a two year old child to determine what the parents looked like.    I watched "Are You Hot" last night - much more scientific than CSI.

Anybody watch CSI last night? How did you like the PATHOLOGIST cutting
sections 1950's style?? I thought it was pretty funny that the Crime Lab is
supposed to be state of the art for DNA, trace analysis and even blood
splatter but they can't find someone to advise them on the most up to date
histology techniques.
