adipocyte and osteoblast markers

From:"Johnson, Teri"

I've searched Abcam's site for markers for adipocytes and osteoblasts. A post-doc is interested in specific markers for these two cell types, or any special histochemical stains as well. We are interested in demonstrating these in formalin/paraformaldehyde fixed, paraffin embedded tissues. Therefore the usual fat stains would not be appropriate.

Interestingly, he showed me pictures of what he called specific staining of the area surrounding fat globules (paraffin section) with an antibody, and it looked strikingly similar to what I've seen before as a non-specific finding (maybe S-100?). At any rate, any help is appreciated.
