I'm having problems using the Autocyte slides for preping gyn specimens.  I
wouldn't use the Autocyte slides for anything except maybe scraping paraffin
off the counters, and even then I would question that.
    My Autocyte TSR told me to use slides from VWR.  We've had the Autocyte
since October, 2001 and recently have worked out the bugs.  We haven't even
begun using the Autocyte for non-gyns.  Good luck
