I am looking for anyone who has experience using the fixative methacarn with
peripheral tissues.

Methacarn was developed in the laboratory in which I worked.  Dr. Holde
Puchtler substituted methanol for the ethanol of Carnoy.  I worked with
fixative almost exclusively for a number of years. We used various autopsy
and surgical pathology tissues.   I will try to answer specific questions.
