tissue specimen orientation aid
From: | Andrea Grantham <algranth@u.arizona.edu> |
Does anybody know what this is?
I don't really know what to call this but I am looking for a membrane or
type of paper that is used to orient biopsy specimens. When you put the
tissue sample on the membrane it sticks so that the specimen can be
oriented properly. Both can go through processing and be cut.
The endoscopy techs used this in a hospital where I once worked for their
tiny colon bx. specimens.
I don't really want to use it for tissue but to hold together collagen
fibers so they can be sectioned. I tried histogel for this but it had
marginal results.
Thanks!!
Andi
