I have worked in a lab where all the small biopsies - g.i., lung, etc...-
were processed in a microwave. I did not see any adverse results with
subsequent immunos. In fact, some things looked better. I think this good be
attributed to better processing, as these small biopsies were not getting
"over" processed. Also, we did test some antibodies on microwave breast
tissue, and lymph tissue with good results. I would think the solutions you
use to process could have some affect.
