RE: Ergonmics help needed!

From:bonnie mcmahill <bjmcm@mail.com>

We are looking to remodel our lab, so I've also been looking for ergonomic
alternatives. TBS's ERGO table is no longer manufactured, it's in
Allegiance's catalog, but not available. There are a few manufacturers on
the internet that have height adjustable table bases you can purchase, but
are very costly ($1000-1500 each?!), but they have a motor adjustment. The
chairs work, but you do have to use foot rest, either attached to the chair
or stand alones, in order for them to be ergonomic (legs at 90 degree
angles...) Keep us posted if you find a good alternative.

I would like to hear from anyone who knows of a source for height adjustable
tables/casework that can be used for rotary microtome work stations. We need
to customize counter heights for individuals in order to provide an
ergonomically friendly work environment.
thanks
