Hi Elizabeth,

Just another thought in regard to the problem you are having with
hydrogen peroxide blocking prior to your primary antibody incubation.
To avoid this, you might try quenching for endogenous peroxidases after
your primary antibody incubation, rather than prior to it.  Some people
even perform this step after the secondary antibody incubation, and it
is preferred to do it this way when staining frozen sections. Good luck!
