Dear Patsy
I use zymed egfr antibody on the nexes and es, are you sure your inconsistent 
results aren't due to oxidized slides? The age and storage of slides effects 
staining, and i have been watching this for quite sometime, sometimes it is 
not the antibody, but the slides. My controls are always cut fresh, because 
they do not hold up very long at room temp and only last a week at -20. Hope 
this sheds some light for you.
The other antibodies that I have found this to be true about are 
ER<PR<Ki67,BCl-2,
Cyclin D1, P53, just some info that may shed some light.
