Gail,
While I haven't used the NovaRed I do use either Dako's or Biogenix's
New Fuchsin and clear with Richard Allan's Clearite 3. This gives a
beautiful crisp red end product which is very permanent. I've been
using this for over 8 years now and when going back to the old slides
they look just as good as slides stained last week. My Image Analysis
system even agrees with me.:-) I also do a lot of DAB but I just use
xylene on those.
